The muses for the RENLI SU Spring/Summer 2015 collection are those independent, elegant and charming girls living in mid-late 19th century from the contemporary work “Little Women”, which inspired the designer Renli to build up a “strong yet feminine” modern woman image. The collection has kept the consistency of using only organic fabrics with an emphasis on traditional and hand-made techniques of impeccable craftsmanship.

The new season uses “Summer Fabric” (a traditional Chinese fabric made mainly from ramie) plain woven by skilful craftsmen, hand-dyed block printed organic cotton from India and an innovative cotton and linen blend from Ireland.

By offering “conceptual yet practical” garments made by pairs of hands from workshops in different corners of the world, RENLI SU is aiming to combine tradition with innovation. And again it interprets the concept of the label – “Time and Memory”.

The new season proposes a style based on “wearable” and “practical” garments, hoping to create styles that last beyond the season. “Comfort” and “simplicity” built up with organic cotton and linen explores exciting details from chequered block print, jacquard weave cotton and oriental fine lace.
